Terms And Conditions

1. Definitions

  • “We”, “Us”, “Our” – means All 7 Taxis, a licensed taxi operator based in Taunton, Somerset.

  • “You”, “Your” – means the customer booking or using our services.

  • “Booking” – means any reservation for our taxi services, whether made by phone, online, email, or in person.

2. Bookings

  • We require your full name, pick-up and drop-off locations, contact number, and (where possible) email address.

  • Bookings are only confirmed once accepted by us (verbally or in writing).

  • For journeys starting outside the Taunton area or for airport/seaport transfers, we may require full or partial payment in advance.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • All prices are agreed at the time of booking and are fixed unless changes are made to the journey (different route, extra stops, waiting time, etc.).

  • Waiting time, diversions, tolls, and additional pickups may incur extra charges.

  • Payment methods accepted: cash, card, or approved business account.

  • For pre-paid bookings, refunds are subject to our cancellation policy (see Section 4).

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations more than 24 hours before pick-up: full refund.

  • Cancellations within 3–24 hours: 50% refund.

  • Cancellations within 3 hours or “no-show”: no refund.

  • A “no-show” means the passenger is not present at the agreed location within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick-up time (unless otherwise agreed).

5. Passenger Behaviour & Refusal of Service

  • We reserve the right to refuse or terminate a journey if a passenger:

    • Acts in a threatening, abusive, or unsafe manner

    • Is excessively intoxicated or unable to travel safely

    • Smokes, vapes, or consumes alcohol/illegal substances in the vehicle

    • Causes or threatens to cause damage to the vehicle

  • Soiling or damage charges: minimum £100 to cover cleaning or repairs.

6. Luggage & Personal Items

  • Standard allowance: one medium suitcase and one small bag per passenger, unless agreed in advance.

  • All items are carried at your own risk—we are not liable for loss or damage unless caused by our negligence.

  • Please inform us of any large or unusual items at the time of booking.

7. Delays & Liability

  • While we always aim to arrive on time, factors such as traffic, weather, or road closures may cause delays.

  • We are not liable for any losses arising from delays beyond our control (e.g., missed flights), but we will assist in providing documentation for insurance claims if needed.

  • Our maximum liability for any claim (excluding personal injury or death caused by our negligence) is limited to the cost of the booked journey.

8. Accessibility & Disability Rights

  • We comply with the Equality Act 2010 and the Taxis & Private Hire Vehicles (Disabled Persons) Act 2022.

  • Assistance dogs travel free of charge.

  • Passengers with mobility aids or wheelchairs should advise us at booking so we can provide a suitable vehicle.

9. Data Protection

  • We process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • We only share necessary details with your allocated driver to fulfil your booking.

  • Our full Privacy Policy is available on request.

10. Safeguarding

  • All drivers are licensed by the local authority and DBS-checked.

  • We operate in line with statutory taxi and private hire vehicle standards to protect children and vulnerable passengers.

11. Complaints

  • If you are unhappy with our service, please contact us via phone or email within 7 days of your journey.

  • We aim to resolve all complaints promptly and fairly.

12. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  • Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
